MUA & Plato's Closet

Hey Ladies! Ok so this might be a long post. So lets just get to it. So I've decided to feature a MUA once a day (until I get a life and can't do it everyday). It will be a photo from a modeling site I'm a member of and I will post the name of the makeup artist, the photographer, and sometimes the model. Here's today's feature:

I love this photo! The theme looks like a recreation of Katy Perry's Califonia Girl look. And the colors are my favorites! Looks like this one make me dream more of becoming a professional makeup artist. Alyne is located in Rutherford, NJ.

On another note today I ended up going to Plato's Closet for the first time. I brought a huge trash bag full of clothes to sell. In the end I spent $70 and sold $12.15. They bought only 2 pairs of jeans a tank and some shoes. I could have sold them for more at a yard sale. I'm a little disappointed YES but I did like what I got. Most of their things were overpriced. Like these tanks that still had the sticker on them said $4. They marked them up to $8. That place is not for everyone I guess. But on the upside the manager (a guy) actually complimented my eye makeup today. Odd huh? Anyways Here are some pics I took today:

Ok so the past week or so has been eventful. Unplanned trips, spontaneous days, and trips to the beach. But that just summer I guess. Today I ended up going out of town and decided to stop at my first CCO! Corny? I know! LOL But I heard so many great things about them I had to check it out. But I went with my roommate. The first thing she said was "They don't have anything" ... MAC she meant. But I was warned already that the ones that weren't in large cities had minimal MAC products. But after 15 minutes heres what I got:

Ok so I didn't wear this today but I have a dilemma. I also went to Forever 21 today but ended up trying on this romper from Forever 21 but i don't know if it's flattering enough to spend $30 on it.

Before today I was dying to get this. I don't know if it's because of my weight problem or the color but it's not what I expected. Am I going crazy? What do you think. [Just pretend I don't have a gut! LOL]

Love this nail polish! It dried within 3 minutes! Literally! And it's supposed to Last up to 10 days. Ha! I guess we will see!

Look of the Day - A Contest Entry

Ok so she's starting to grow on me. I wasn't her biggest fan when she first came out for various reasons but I see her in a different light now. I've seen a few of her interviews and they made me think twice. But anyhoo! I saw the photo below on Composition Inc.'s blogspot. The photo is a leaked image from the VIBE's June 2010. (I am in no way claiming to own the rights to this photo!) As soon as I saw it I fell in love! You girls know that these are my colors! =) Her makeup is hot! maybe I can recreate this look for you ladies. Enjoy!

Look of the Night

So this is obviously last night''s look. I went out with some of my friends and this is what I decided to do to my face. My dress was purple. I had no time to take full photos so this is just one of those few that I could take. I took a  picture for the club so hopefully if they post it I will post it here as well. Hot Shoes!!!

 I just had to post these heels. As I was doing my daily blog reading when i ran across these heels:

Preppy Pink

I went home this weekend to see my parents ... I took these pictures as we were on the way to a family friends birthday party. I had litterally 5 minutes to do my makeup before we left so I put on blush black eyeshadow - no primer :( - and pink lipstick from N.Y.C. I plan on going to the Mac counter tomorrow to pick up the Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick and Viva Glam VI Lipglass. Hopefully they have it. Oh and I am planning to do a haul to show everything I bought over the past few months so make sure you check out YouTube! =)

Look of the Day

Today was the last full week of classes and i decided to change it up today. i almost never wear my hair straight. So I flat ironed it and this was the result. Not bad! But I also did my makeup today - pink lip and blush.
