Ok so this idea came from a fellow blogger El'Aundra of edk.dolce.She had an idea to start a Featured Followers program. A Toast to the Internet ... (Caution: A little corny...lol)

So if you didn't already know ... im a huge computer geek. I dream of one day becoming one of those nerds who sits in a room all day an writes computer programs. Yes that's me ... but none the less I feel like I have found a new life outside of classes and programming through YouTube and Blogger. I have found a love for something I would have never worn a few years back ... makeup! I want to become a makeup artist. Not exclusively but for fun. I know I would have to get better but that's my plan. The internet has made me feel like I have taped into another world. Even as a computer major I had no sense of how huge the internet is. Now I fell like I can do anything. I always find myself saying "let me Google it".

Mya! Where Did You Go!

So I watching one of my favorite videos today "Fallen" by Mya. I love this video!!! When it first came out in 2003 (I may have been 14 ... lol) I remember trying to mimic the video on various occasions. Especially when I look a shower and my mirror fogged up. I would write fallen with a little heart under it. But I remember only putting it small in the corner of the mirror so my parents wouldn't ask me about it. Then I got tired of it going away when the mirror dried so I took my mothers lipstick and drew it on my mirror in my room! LOL I was sooo wack! Anyway I loved mya during this time. She looked so classy and dainty ... if that makes any sense. Here are some screenshots for those who havent seen it:

Ok so she's starting to grow on me. I wasn't her biggest fan when she first came out for various reasons but I see her in a different light now. I've seen a few of her interviews and they made me think twice. But anyhoo! I saw the photo below on Composition Inc.'s blogspot. The photo is a leaked image from the VIBE's June 2010. (I am in no way claiming to own the rights to this photo!) As soon as I saw it I fell in love! You girls know that these are my colors! =) Her makeup is hot! maybe I can recreate this look for you ladies. Enjoy!

If I Won the Lottery...

So yesterday I watched a special on tv about these random families who each won the lottery (all except one unexpectedly). And I began to think what would i do if I won the lottery. Here in Virginia the lottery is up to $170 million - minus taxes of course. So what would I do with the money?:

• Pay off all student loans
• Move to Tampa, FL
• Finish undergrad
• Attend Grad School for Masters
• Buy a 2010 Range Rover Supercharged in Black with chrome detailing
• A large train case w/ all the makeup I could ever want
• Purchase a house in Tampa on the beach
• Make a large bedroom a walk in closet
• Fill the walk in closet
• Donate to charities for Haiti, Katrina (rebuilt), Sickle Cell Anemia, and Cancer
• Update my electronics
• Get certified in Java, C++, Windows, Visual Basic, etc.
• Start a web design studio
• Get another jet black poodle (a girl named Chanel)
• Hire a photographer to take photos for my blog
• Buy my grandmother a brand new car
• Start modeling professionally
• Open a clothing boutique in Tampa
• Travel the world

A Tiny Obsession ...

I am insanely obsessed with Gabrielle Union! I love everything about her. Shes classy, sexy, and talented. And most of all she doesn't allow the media the ruin her life. Here's a few pics ... maybe you will see what I mean...

Revamping is overdue ...

So yes I'm back and with only one week left of school before I have to focus on final exams. The past few  weeks have been hectic. (If your interested in the sad story of my life then click here.) I am on the search for an internship for the summer. I am a little late but my summer breaks are significantly long. I am determined to be successful. My brain can't take failure.

Anyways this blog is overdue for a makeover. I feel like It will be my summer task. I want it to be classic so I won't have to change it up too much. But I also have a YouTube channel ladies. New York!!!

So I've finally decided what im gonna do for spring break ... NEW YORK!!! I've never been so this should be exciting. Im going with one of my friends (who has also never gone), my Mom, and my Aunt from Florida. Were taking the Chinese bus so its like $60 for a round trip. I feel bad about leaving Chance though =(.

Ahh I need a new camera so i might just get this one!


Also my computer should be here tomorrow so that means a revamping of the blog! I'm so excited! Anyways It's midterm week next week so i need some sleep. Ill talk to y'all later!

NEW BEGINNINGS!!!

So I'm a computer geek and I happen to be taking a web design class. We were told to design a fictional website that would not be published. So I decided to make a site based on my blog. Now I am thinking of creating a real site. But I would have to have a lot more viewers. But here are some pics of my work! Remember this is fictional so I took pictures from random sites. The girl is actually on Chictopia. And I will change the spelling from Barbie to Barby because it IS copyrighted lol. Tell me what you think!
